The partnership sees MSA onboarded as Pansmart’s African Distribution Partner, providing MSA access to the full suite of Panasonic PBX and Unified Communications, CCTV, and video conferencing platforms and solutions exclusively into the local channel and across Africa. The collaboration is very strategic for both Pansmart and MSA and demonstrates their trust and confidence in each other.
Pansmart is an exclusive distributor of Panasonic voice, video and CCTV products, leveraging the brand success of Panasonic which has been delivering leading innovation and technology to the market for 100 years. Customers who invest in Panasonic, are assured of quality, stability and quick access to service and support.
However, Pansmart is not your average value-added distributor. They transcend typical distribution by working closely with their partners to develop effective go-to-market strategies and offer support to increase revenue and profitability.
On the other side of the coin, MSA is a well-established South African technology provider, with offices around the country and a reseller network consisting of more than 320 members. Their push into the rest of Africa is going strong, with a presence in 32 African countries already, making MSA a truly pan-African brand. And this decision to choose Pansmart and Panasonic exclusively is big news for their loyal clients.
Pansmart has long specialised in Panasonic’s voice, video, and CCTV-focused products and services, and this partnership with MSA is a natural next step for them. Pansmart’s vision to create and empower an exclusive national network of resellers and drive strategic initiatives that make it easier for their partners to do business is well-served by this move.
The decision to partner with MSA came down to an alignment of core values between the two companies. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with, and their collaboration will enable MSA’s clients to receive an end-to-end solution with a single and integrated supplier.
“MSA is elated with the decision to partner with Pansmart, and ultimately Panasonic, in this exclusive distribution agreement. We were very specific in terms of our selection criteria; we wanted a partner that shared our values, channel focus and commitment to delivering quality products and solutions into Africa,” says MSA’s COO, Jono Williamson.
Besides exclusively distributing Panasonic’s range of PABX, CCTV and video conferencing platforms, MSA also distributes third-party Internet of Things solutions, voice gateways, managed internet routers and firewall systems into the South African and African channels.
MSA has five subsidiaries that combine radio, wireless, voice, video, and IP technologies and expertise to allow the company to design, deploy, and support single, integrated communications networks for its customers. They provide complete end-to-end solutions that include infrastructure, two-way radio, and communications.
Thanks to this new partnership with Pansmart, MSA can include Panasonic’s offerings in its solution portfolio. Pansmart is also excited to deliver on their vision of entering into reciprocal partnerships to drive strategic operations into African markets which MSA have already established.
“Thus far, the Pansmart and Panasonic relationship has exceeded our expectations, and we are exceedingly optimistic about our collective future,” concludes Williamson.
Through this new partnership, Pansmart and MSA will be able to serve their customers more efficiently and effectively, while achieving accelerated growth, leveraging the brand equity of Panasonic, and increasing Panasonic’s market share. The two companies complement one another’s capabilities and solution offerings and, by working closely together, they supply their customers with the best-in-breed infrastructure, know-how, services, and support on a wide range of managed Telecommunications and IT solutions.
