Remembering Ronni Moffitt, Victim of George H.W. Bush

America's 41st President, George H.W. Bush, was responsible for the death of hundreds of thousands of innocent people. One of them was 25 year old Ronni Moffitt.

While the world's more sinister rulers lined up to pay grotesque homage to war criminal George H.W. Bush on December 5, many of his victims were mourned by their families and friends. One of those was American woman Ronni Moffitt, killed by a terrorist bombing orchestrated by the CIA under the direction of Bush.

On September 21, 1976, in Washington, DC, former Chilean Defense Minister Orlando Letelier was assassinated by a car bomb. The bomb also killed passenger Ronni Karpen Moffit, Letelier's 25 year old American assistant. Ronni's husband, Michael, also a passenger, was injured but survived the attack.

The assassination of Letelier is still promoted as having been ordered by the brutal dictator of Chile, Augusto Pinochet, who’d overthrown the country’s democratically elected president Salvador Allende three years before in a CIA-orchestrated military coup. However, the CIA would have certainly first approved the hit and likely ordered Pinochet to send his agents to D.C. Pinochet took his orders from Langley and would never have dared to order a hit on American soil without CIA approval and it was only George H.W. Bush who could have given the approval as the Director of the CIA at the time.

Ultimately, American citizen Ronni Moffitt was murdered by George Bush, who authorized the bombing and then covered it up.

Declassified documents show that the CIA was informed prior by cable that Pinochet's agents were headed to Washington to assassinate Letelier but it did nothing to intercept the agents or warn Letelier. Further proof of an American conspiracy was the fact that war criminal Henry Kissinger, then Secretary of State, canceled a warning to Chile not to kill its overseas opponents just five days before Letelier was murdered.

Pinochet revoked Letelier's Chilean citizenship about 2 weeks prior to the assassination for being a vocal opponent of his brutal regime with the CIA's help had been targeting numerous other opponents who had fled Chile.

The assassination was carried out by CIA terrorist Michael Vernon Townley, an American who had been living in Chile, had joined the CIA in the early 60s and specialized in killing people with high profile car bombs. He had been tasked with hunting down and killing Chileans who opposed Pinochet under the CIA's Operation Condor - a highly organized and well funded program to abduct, torture and murder opponents of right-wing dictatorships throughout Latin America that officially ran from about 1974 through the 1980s and was responsible for tens of thousands of deaths of Latin America's leading thinkers, journalists, democracy activists and others who resisted the many right-wing dictatorships installed by the U.S.

Two years earlier in 1974, Townley killed the former head of the Chilean Army, General Carlos Prats and his wife by a car bomb in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Townley was found to have planned the Letelier assassination and planted the bomb. He was assisted by Cuban-American terrorists/patsies Guillermo Novo Sampol, Alvin Ross Diaz, Virgilio Paz Romero, Jose Dionesio Suarez.

Guillermo Novo Sampol and Alvin Ross Diaz claimed in their first trial that the CIA orchestrated the bombing, but after the federal prosecutors sabotaged the trial and a new trial was ordered they changed their tune and claimed that it was Chile who ordered and organized the hit.

For his role in the crime, mass murderer and terrorist Townley was given 5 years in prison and then rewarded with witness protection. All the others were acquitted or served minor sentences. Most went on to kill more innocent people.

The CIA did all it could to divert attention from itself and Chile and claimed that the bombing was carried out by communists. An idiotic claim since Letelier was a socialist and darling of the left.

To carry out the coverup, Bush used the CIA's Operation Mockingbird to spread disinformation about the assassination through its vast media propaganda network that it had founded in 1948 and continues to operate today. Mockingbird encompass most media in the United States and a substantial portion of media in NATO countries. Media which is not part of the network is often excluded or downgraded in Google, Bing and Yahoo search results, like this web site and many others.

The coverup of Ronni's cold-blooded murder has remained effective and is just one of the multitude of crimes that George Herbert Walker Bush got away with.
